Instead of its usual consumer show, the Caravan Industry Victoria trade body in Australia will be hosting the Victorian Caravan & Camping Virtual Show in September. The online format for this year’s show is in response to the situation regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, and is now officially live for consumer registrations at https://victoriancaravanandcampingvirtualshow.com.au.
RV Online is the inaugural partner of this exciting Virtual Show. Paul Widdis General Manager of RV Online (a Leisure-Tec Brand) said: “We are so excited to partner with the Caravan Industry of Victoria to help bring this virtual show to life. It is an Australian and even maybe a world first for the caravanning industry and we are proud to partner with this. RV Online is all about the digital landscape and helping customers in these difficult times get access to quality products in preparation for their next adventure and it is great to see the CIV realising this shift in consumer behaviour and bringing the ‘show’ to the people.”
And Aboutcamp BtoB is media partner of the event.
The virtual show will open at 7 am on Wednesday 2 September and close at midnight on Sunday 6 September 2020. It aims to show consumers the best in the caravan and camping industry with something for every budget. It will enable people to compare and explore the latest in caravan, motorhomes, campervans, camper trailers, plus loads more.
There will be an extensive range of camping equipment, boating, fishing, and products and accessories online, plus travel destinations from tourism exhibitors.
Consumers will also be able to view finance, insurance, and accredited service and repair businesses and find out the latest technical advice, changes to requirements and loads of tips and tricks plus webinars from caravan and camping experts to help keep consumers be informed and safe on the road
The virtual show experience also promises special show pricing with exhibitors offering their best deals only available for five days of the show.
Loads of prizes can be won in the Passport to Freedom competition – just by visiting the site and speaking to exhibitors, or watching a presentation – all from the comfort of your own home.
