The largest leisure vehicle show in the United Kingdom, the Motorhome and Caravan Show, gets underway this week at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham.
Running from 14 to 19 October, the show will host 350 exhibitors across 11 halls showcasing the best of caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and accessories from British and European brands.
Organisers say there will be around 1,000 new leisure vehicles on display at the show this year from more than 80 different brands – covering everything from entry-level vehicles through to high-end, luxury designs.
Brands exhibiting at the show in the recreational vehicle category include Swift, Bailey, Coachman, Adria, Elddis, Auto-Sleepers, Auto-Trail, Carthago, Knaus, Hobby, Hymer, Dethleffs, Chausson, Giottiline, Morelo, Pilote, Rapido, to name just a few.
There will also be a wide range of campervan brands and campervan conversion companies, as well as awning producers, tourist boards, campsite and caravan park operators, and associations such as the NCC.
As well as caravans and motorhomes, the show will also host many technology and component producers and suppliers to the industry, including Truma, Alde, Renogy, Eberspaecher, VB-Airsuspension, Dometic, and AL-KO.
The show will offer visitors the opportunity to try towing a caravan, provide expert technical advice, and run a full schedule of seminars and talks from celebrities including Ben Fogle and industry content creators such as Andrew Ditton.
