Truma announces promotion of Mark Howlett to Chief Operating Officer

The Truma Corp., a global leader in the supply of premium comfort systems for the recreational vehicle market in North America, has announced the promotion of Mark Howlett to Chief Operating Officer. His primary responsibilities will be Sales, Service, Operations and Business Development.

“Mark has been a key part of our success in North America, helping to build and shape the organization we have today,” said Gerhard Hundsberger, President and CEO of Truma Corp. Howlett joined Truma as a founding member of the North American team in August of 2013. Prior to his promotion he held the position of Sr VP Business Development.

“I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to grow with Truma and the support I have received from the team, the Board and the Family. I look forward to continuing to build the organization and offer the North American RV market best in-class service, support and the premium systems they have come to know and enjoy,” added Howlett.

Howlett has supported the development of sales and services processes and, more recently, the building of the operations team at Truma’s Elkhart headquarters. In addition, Howlett’s previous roles in Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain have supported the launch of new products, including the Truma AquaGo on-demand water heater and the Truma Aventa rooftop air conditioner’s recent announcement.

Truma is a premium solutions partner to the outdoor recreation community. Truma started doing business in North America in 2013, establishing its headquarters in Elkhart, IN. Backed by over 70 years of German engineering, Truma has a long history of providing quality solutions to the global outdoor recreation market.
