Two leisure vehicle servicing workshops in the United Kingdom have been recognised in the 2025 Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS) Awards.
Kirk Caravan Services of Lanark was named AWS Fixed Workshop of the Year for the second consecutive year, while JB Caravan and Trailer Services was named AWS Mobile Workshop of the Year.
Organised by the National Caravan Council (NCC), the Camping and Caravanning Club, and the Caravan and Motorhome Club, the AWS awards are judged against a range of criteria, including compliance with scheme requirements, independent assessments, customer feedback, and customer votes.
“The awards celebrate the important work carried out by companies within the Approved Workshop Scheme,” said Approved Workshop Scheme Manager, Reece Wigmore.
“The winners and finalists have to demonstrate high-quality work and adherence to a strict code of conduct, and show they have delivered high standards of service and repair work throughout the year.”
Colin Kirk, owner of Lanarkshire-based Kirk Caravan Services, said: “Winning the Fixed Approved Workshop of the Year for the second consecutive year is a landmark achievement for us. It’s a reflection of our team’s tireless commitment to excellence and ensures our customers can continue to rely on us for the highest industry standards of workmanship.”
Meanwhile, Jamie Bell, owner of JB Caravan and Trailer Services, added: “We’re delighted to win Mobile Workshop of the Year 2025. With the Approved Workshop Scheme being the only industry-recognised body for workshops, it is an excellent way of promoting our business and attracting new customers. My wife and I work hard, from booking through to job completion, to ensure all aspects of customer service and workmanship are excellent.”
The other finalists in the awards were Cara-Fix Midlands of Staffordshire, MW Caravans, Spencer’s Caravan Services of Warminster, Tourer Techs Caravan Services of Highbridge, and Utowpia Caravans of Wybunbury.
