The 2nd European Caravanning Dealers Forum took place in Stuttgart during CMT 2026, confirming itself as a key platform for dialogue among Europe’s leading caravan and motorhome dealer associations. The event was organised by Camper Professional Deutschland, our magazine dedicated to the German market and the German-language counterpart of Aboutcamp BtoB, in cooperation with the German dealers’ association DCHV, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and fostering a shared European vision for the distribution sector.

The Forum was made possible thanks to the support of CMT Stuttgart. Special thanks go to Alexander Ege, Project Manager of CMT, whose commitment and availability played a crucial role in supporting the organisers and facilitating the event.
This second edition followed the first Forum held in 2025 in Italy during the Fit Your Camper trade show, which marked the beginning of a new structured dialogue among European dealer associations. What started as an experimental initiative has now evolved into a concrete and increasingly international platform.

The 2026 Forum brought together representatives from seven European countries, highlighting the growing interest in a shared discussion on the future of caravanning distribution.

All participants expressed strong enthusiasm for the Forum, recognising its value as a rare opportunity to exchange experiences, data, and strategic perspectives across national borders. The discussions highlighted a series of common challenges affecting the European market and participants agreed on the importance of continuing this dialogue and transforming the Forum into a stable European meeting point, capable of fostering long-term cooperation among associations.

The event was supported by Verendus and Help2Camp, two companies specialising in software solutions for motorhome and caravan dealers.
