The second-ever edition of the Fit Your Camper exhibition has been declared a success by organisers after attracting 22 per cent more visitors than in 2024.
The event, which took place from 3 to 6 April in Erba, Como, Italy, saw 15,398 people visit, demonstrating the growing interest in the world of caravanning and its accessories.
Fit Your Camper is also taking on significant and strategic importance in the B2B sector of the industry with participation of professionals up to 491, compared with 484 in 2024. The show also hosted about 30 per cent more exhibitors this year compared to last.
Co-organiser of the event, Fabio Viviani, said: “We are very satisfied: exhibitors and visitors have given us extremely positive feedback. This year we welcomed about 30 per cent more exhibitors, with a broad and representative panorama of the accessories and components sector. The large turnout of campers has led us to prepare a seventh parking lot in the Pusiano Lake area and to activate an additional dedicated shuttle. Almost all exhibitors have already confirmed their presence for 2026, often with requests for larger spaces. Even those who were unable to participate this year have told us their intention to be at the next edition. The Lariofiere venue has been confirmed, with the hope of also being able to open the third pavilion.”

Fellow co-organiser and Aboutcamp BtoB Editor-in-Chief, Antonio Mazzucchelli, added: “This second edition confirms unequivocally that the format works and responds to a real need. Fit Your Camper is a fair that was missing from the European panorama, and this is demonstrated not only by the numbers but also by the interest from foreign operators who came to visit during the B2B days. As always, we will listen to all the voices, through surveys among exhibitors and visitors, to best calibrate the next edition. Furthermore, we will immediately start working on the inclusion of tourist destinations and accommodation facilities, so as to further strengthen the offer for our public.”
Fit Your Camper featured dedicated days for B2B visitors (Thursday 3 and the morning of Friday 4 April), which were well appreciated by the European industry, before the public were allowed to enter from Friday afternoon through to Sunday 6 April.
As part of the show, the second edition of the Camper Professional Awards was held at a ceremony in the Sala Lario to celebrate professionals and companies that have distinguished themselves for their passion, innovation and commitment in the world of caravanning and outdoor tourism.
The awards were organised by Camper Professional Italia, media partner of the event, and saw the awarding of prizes in three different categories: Camper Professional Legacy Award, an award for those who have marked a pioneering and innovative path in the sector; Camper Professional RV Dealer Award, dedicated to dealers who have distinguished themselves for quality in distribution and customer services; and Editor’s Choice Mention, a special mention from the editorial staff for projects and personalities with recognition in the sector.

Specifically, the Camper Professional Legacy Awards were presented to Antonio Garbari, agent for Italy of the Carthago and Malibu brands (Pioneers in the Recreational Vehicle Trade), to Davide Nardini, founder of Project 2000 (Avant-garde and Technological Development in Recreational Vehicles) and to Paolo Bertino, founder of Camperonline (Pioneers of Digital Communication in Caravanning).
