Recreational vehicle technology and components brand Scanstrut is aiming to showcase that the exterior utility connections sector can bring high standards of design focus to the market when it exhibits at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf this year.

The company believes that power inlets, water fills, gas connections, and charging points are subject to the same rising consumer expectations that many other product categories in motorhomes and campervans are, and will be showing its latest design innovations in these categories at the show.

 Drawing on more than 40 years of engineering experience in the marine sector, where products are expected to withstand constant exposure to harsh environments, Scanstrut has developed the new Roam and Ventura Series for the recreational vehicle market.

The ranges combine power, water, gas and connectivity solutions within a consistent platform, sharing common installation dimensions and a unified exterior appearance to help streamline vehicle production.

Every product in these two ranges is engineered to meet demanding outdoor conditions, with IP68/IP69K waterproof protection, marine-grade materials and compact designs that maximise installation flexibility.

By standardising external utility connections across multiple applications, Scanstrut has offered manufacturers the ability to reduce installation complexity while delivering a cleaner, more premium finish for end users.

The design-led approach has already attracted international recognition. The Ventura Series has received the 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design, alongside the iF Design Award and the European Innovation Award, highlighting the growing importance of well-engineered exterior systems within modern RV design.
