Technology component producer Scanstrut is celebrating after its new Ventura Series of utility sockets for campervans, motorhomes, and other RVs received a prestigious iF Design Award.

Judged by 129 international design and sustainability experts from around the world, the iF Design Award recognises products and ideas that raise the global benchmark for global excellence and rewards designers who ‘dare to challenge conventions, rethink systems, and elevate everyday experiences into meaningful impact’.

Fresh from winning a European Innovation Award at the 2026 CMT Show, Scanstrut’s Ventura Series claims to redefine RV and van utility sockets with its compact, waterproof, and design-led solution.

Ventura delivers a uniform range of sockets for power, solar, water, and media, all of which are IP68 and IP69K rated and built from marine-grade materials – utilising Scanstrut’s expertise in this adjacent market.

The Ventura Series features low-profile aesthetics and spring-loaded click-shut lids, all aimed at enhancing the user experience, protecting vital connections, and raising the standards for outdoor living.
