RVDA of Canada President announces retirement

Eleonore Hamm, the President of the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada, has announced that she is retiring at the end of this year.

Eleonore has dedicated 31 years of her career to the association, having started as an Executive Assistant in 1995. Her commitment, leadership, and passion quickly shone through, and she rose to the position of Executive Vice-President and then ultimately President in 2009.

Under Eleonore’s guidance, the RVDA of Canada built a powerful voice for itself in terms of industry advocacy and navigated the trials and tribulations of global crises such as COVID-19, keeping the interests of Canadian RV dealers at heart.

Eleonore was inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame Class of 2021, recognising her outstanding contributions to the RV industry.

“On behalf of our members, directors, volunteers, partners, and colleagues across the industry, we extend our deepest gratitude to Eleonore for her extraordinary service,” said Ken Dobson, Chair of the RVDA of Canada Board of Directors. “The relationships she built, the standards she established, and the credibility she created will remain an important part of RVDA of Canada’s foundation for years to come.”

Eleonore’s career will be celebrated throughout the fall through member stories, industry events, and special recognitions, culminating at the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo in Las Vegas.

“It has been an honour and privilege to serve the RVDA of Canada and work alongside so many dedicated dealers, partners, volunteers, and industry leaders over the years,” Eleonore said. “I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together and confident in the bright future ahead for the association and the Canadian RV industry.”
