Key players from across the Australian caravanning and camping industry are preparing to gather for the annual Caravan Industry Association of Australia’s National Conference.

The event, which takes place from 14 to 16 May at the RACV Royal Pines Resort in Gold Coast, features a rich programme of keynote speakers and social events aimed at bringing the industry together and helping individuals and companies in the caravanning industry improve their businesses.

Registration for the conference is now open, and anyone who books before 24 March will save AUS $200 on the standard registration price and AUS $400 on the final rate.

Confirmed speakers at the conference include international artificial intelligence expert Dr Alan Thompson (14 May), economist turned social entrepreneur Simon Griffith (14 May), global thought leader and North American RV industry expert Toby O’Rourke (15 May), influential global futurist Dr Keith Suter (15 May), entrepreneur and investor Andrew Morello (15 May), decorated Australian jockey Damien Oliver (15 May), consumer trends expert Amanda Stevens (16 May), and Australian Paralympic Champion Curtis McGrath (16 May).

The Caravan Industry Association of Australia says that the conference will also feature sector-specific breakout sessions and masterclasses tailored to trade and park businesses as well as social events including a golf day on 14 May and a casual dinner on 15 May.

Leisure-Tec, which is part of the Truma Group, and Experience GoldCoast are the two official sponsors of the conference.

As well as being the best networking event in the Australian RV industry, the National Conference will also be where several annual awards are handed out to deserving members of the industry.

These include the Eric Hayman Award for Excellence, the Gerry Ryan OAM Award for Innovation, the Future Leaders Award, the Richard Davis OAM Award, the Chairperson’s Award, and the People’s Choice Awards.
