One of South Korea’s largest and most significant leisure vehicle and camping exhibitions, the Camping and Picnic Fair, is set to take place this week in Goyang.

The show will run for four days from 13 to 16 March at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX), which is just northwest of the capital city Seoul.

Established in 2013, the Camping and Picnic Fair is organised by AllFair and showcases brands and products in many different product categories including motorhomes, caravans, trailer tents, tents, and accessories.

According to AllFair, last year’s event welcomed more than 70,000 visitors, and hosted 165 different exhibiting companies. There were also 26 overseas exhibitors from China and Germany.

The exhibition covers an impressive 32,157 sqm and showcases not only the latest products available in the Korean market but also gives a valuable insight into its fast-evolving camping and RV sector.

The show represents the emerging RV and camping market in South Korea, which is growing in importance on the international stage.

The country has an estimated 300-400 RV manufacturers according to the Korean Recreational Vehicle Industry Association (KRVIA), and it also imports 2,000 caravans from Europe each year.
