New top managers for Knaus Tabbert

Knaus Tabbert GmbH, a leading manufacturer of caravans and motorhomes in Europe, reports three important personnel decisions. Armin Mäder, who has been working for the company as an excellent engineer for years, now fills the position of product manager for the premium brand.

He is well known for his meticulousness and passion for the products of TABBERT, and with these characteristics Mäder is the perfect choice for the position of product manager. For years Mäder has been working in Mottgers, from where he has accompanied the development of TABBERT vehicles, and as product manager he now assumes responsibility for them. Klaus-Peter Bolz assumes the position of brand manager. He also has known the industry for decades. From May 1975 to February 1985 Bolz had worked as sales and marketing manager for Bürstner, a KNAUS competitor, before he in April 1985 assumed the same position in our company, at that time Knaus GmbH. In 1995 he returned to Kehl and there held the position of sales manager. In the year 2014 he announced to go into retirement, but he returned to the industry at the beginning of this year – to Knaus Tabbert.

“We decided to take this step because the industry follows its own rules”, says Gerd Adamietzki, sales manager of Knaus Tabbert, explaining the replacement of Mirko Weißenborn. “With Armin Mäder as product manager and Klaus-Peter Bolz as brand manager we will bring the TABBERT brand back again to where it once was – to the very top”, says Adamietzki with certainty. Knaus announces also a new Product Manager: Jürgen Thaler is an expert from within the company. KNAUS is on a growth course. The great success of the last months has demonstrated that Knaus Tabbert GmbH is on the right path, and in order to stay on this path Jürgen Thaler with immediate effect fills the position of product manager for KNAUS. With Thaler, Knaus Tabbert was able to find an expert from within the company for this position. “We are really pleased about this, because Jürgen Thaler approaches this new position with passion and extensive known-how”, says Gerd Adamietzki. The company deliberately took its time for this decision in order to be able to perfectly fill this position. “And with Jürgen Thaler we managed to do exactly that”.

Jürgen Thaler, age 35, has been working for the company since 2012. Before that time he had worked as a project manager for a gastronomy equipment company, and also had gathered experience with a supplier of the caravan industry. At Knaus Tabbert he so far has been in charge of the motorhome sector as project manager. He knows all the KNAUS products in great detail and has the necessary background knowledge to be able to help shape the corporate targets in a long-term and future-oriented manner. “You not only need to have more ideas than others, you also have to be able to decide which of these ideas are good ones” – this is Thaler’s motto for his new position.
