A new industry-run caravanning show is set to take place in the Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne in Australia this May.

The Cranbourne Caravanning and Adventure Leisurefest, organised by Caravan Industry Victoria, will take place from 8 to 10 May at Cranbourne Racecourse and is promising to bring Australia’s latest caravanning and adventure innovations directly to one of Victoria’s most passionate RV regions.

“This is a region where we know RV registration is leading the state, so it’s a natural fit to bring an event like this to Cranbourne,” said  Caravan Industry Victoria CEO  Daniel Sahlberg. 

“We’ve seen a real appetite across Melbourne’s south-east, and this event makes it easier for people to access the industry locally, explore their options and take the next step in their travel journey.

“We believe the inaugural Cranbourne Leisurefest will punch above its weight for a first show. As an  industry-run and backed show, consumers can expect quality over quantity.”

The event will showcase a wide range of RVs, from affordable caravan pods through to fully-equipped, off-grid adventure trailers, giving consumers a wide range of choice of quality products. It will also be supported by the ‘tick’ campaign, a symbol designed to help consumers identify industry-backed events that meet the highest standards of quality and experience.

Daniel Sahlberg added: “Industry‑run caravan shows are like flying on a properly regulated airline;  profit‑only shows are cheap seats on an old plane where corners are  cut , and standards quietly disappear.

“When you see the tick, you know you’re attending one of our six trusted, industry-run events that deliver quality and compliance people expect when choosing product for their next adventure.”
