Dometic, the global supplier of a range of products for mobile living, has introduced a new ‘PW 1100’ side-mounted awning with three patented features – including slide-out support legs. Dometic says the innovations on its new model transform the way an awning is deployed and stowed away after use.
Peter Kruk, President EMEA, Dometic said: “Awning set-up is now easier than ever thanks to the PW 1100’s new, patented slide-out support legs. The innovative design improves both safety and convenience, It’s easy to set up by just one person with no need to stand under the awning during deployment.”
The new product is integrated in a newly designed, elegant S-flow housing design with no visible screws.
The support legs of PW1100 are stowed in the awning housing enabling users to easily slide-out the awning while standing safely to the side of the unit.
The improved design of the patented EasyLock system enhances ease of operation and safety. This new design makes it impossible to unlock the support legs accidentally.
The 4.0m and 4.5m models of the PW1100 come supplied with the system patented tension rafter. This is pre-installed and stowed neatly, and hidden away in the lead housing of the awning. This patented system protects the tension rafter from damage as well as saving storage space inside the vehicle.
This latest addition to the Dometic awning range is compatible with all currently available Dometic awnings.
