'Motor Caravan Pitch Day 2022' presentation at the Caravan Salon to focus on 'Motorhome Tourism 2.0: on the way to climate-neutral sites'

The CIVD, ADAC and DTV are inviting representatives from local authorities and the tourism industry, as well as private investors, to the second Motor Caravan Pitch Day at the CARAVAN SALON in Düsseldorf on Monday, 29 August under the title “Motorhome Tourism 2.0: On the way to climate-neutral sites”.

This free event takes place in room 15 on the first floor of Hall 1 from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., and will include presentations from long-standing industry experts on climate-neutral motorhome pitches, future-oriented technologies and practical solutions for recreational vehicles.

There are almost 4,700 motorhome sites providing over 71,000 pitches in Germany, which is not enough to keep up with the increasing number of motorhomes on the road. As a result, this is bringing more and more pitches in less heavily frequented destinations into focus and giving more and more regions the chance to participate in the caravanning boom.
