Leadership change announced at luxury motorhome brand Morelo

High-end motorhome manufacturer Morelo has announced a new leadership succession that it says is setting the course for its future.

Ralf Schütte has been officially appointed as Managing Director at the German company, working alongside existing Managing Director Robert Crispens in a new dual-leadership structure.

Ralf has more than 35 years of experience in the motorhome industry and a personal passion for the hobby, having been a keen motorhomer for most of his life. He has worked at Morelo since 2018 and has been focused on lean management, efficient workflows, and clearly defined processes.

“By appointing Ralf Schütte, we are strengthening our management team with a highly experienced expert who has known our industry for decades and has been closely associated with Morelo for many years,” said Robert Crispens. “Together, we will take the next steps to further expand our market position.”

Ralf’s appointment is part of what Morelo calls a generational transformation of its management team following the retirement of Reinhard Löhner in September 2025 after more than 13 years at the company’s helm.

Reinhard helped build Morelo from an ambitious start-up into one of Europe’s most influential luxury motorhome brands. The company went on record to thank Reinhard for his pioneering work, which it says provided the foundation for its next phase of development.

Morelo will be present at CMT 2026 in Stuttgart from 17 to 25 January, with Ralph Schütte making his first appearance as Managing Director at the show. It will be showcasing models from its Home, Loft, Palace, and Empire Liner ranges.
