Swedish leisure vehicle producer Kabe Group has published its half-year financial results for the period from January to June 2026.
Within the results, the company recorded net turnover of SEK 1,910 million, profit of SEK 120 million, operating profit of SEK 139 million, and operating margin of 7.3 per cent. Earnings per share were SEK 13.33.
Exchange rate fluctuations affected operating profit by SEK 9 million. Excluding exchange rate fluctuations, operating profit amounted to SEK 130 million.
The majority of the group’s turnover came from its Kabe-branded motorhomes and caravans, which recorded turnover of SEK 724 million in this half-year period.
Adria, which is distributed in the Nordic region by Kabe Group, reported SEK 518 million in turnover. The Coachman brand, which is part of the group, reported turnover of SEK 431 million, while Affinity motorhomes recorded SEK 51 million turnover. In the accessories segment, KAMA Leisure’s turnover amounted to SEK 167 million.
Kabe Group stated that the Nordic market has performed particularly well during the period – more positively than many other European markets. This is a benefit to Kabe as its main sales area is within this region.
Despite continued and challenging market conditions for new recreational vehicles, Kabe Group says it has improved both turnover and operating profit compared with the previous year.
“The motorhome market is showing a positive and stable trend – a trend that characterises the European market as a whole,” Kabe Group stated in the report. “The increased interest is driven primarily by new customer groups, with motorhomes in the lower price segment accounting for the largest increase in sales.
“This development broadens the customer base and creates favourable conditions for increased demand for the KABE Group’s premium products in the longer term. Our strategic efforts to develop the product range and strengthen the KABE Group internationally have enabled us to continue to defend our market positions. Increased export efforts have also, in recent years, reduced our dependence on individual markets and created a more stable foundation for the business.”
