Kabe Group publishes half-year financial report

Swedish caravan and motorhome producer Kabe Group AB has published its financial results for the period from January to June 2025.

The company reported net sales of SEK 1,830 million for the period, alongside a profit of SEK 62 million, and an operating profit of SEK 73 million. Earnings per share were recorded at SEK 6.89, while cash flow from operating activities amounted to SEK 180 million.

In the report, Kabe Group says that its home market in Sweden developed more positively than other markets, such as Germany, where adjustments to dealer inventory levels have had a negative impact on sales.

These inventory adjustments also happened in the UK market, according to Kabe, but it also reported that its company Coachman has significantly strengthened its market share in the British caravan market to just over 20 per cent.

“The change in the product mix towards smaller units with lower equipment levels has contributed to lower sales and a lower operating margin,” said the report.

“New products have been developed to broaden the product portfolio and reach a larger customer segment. The launch of new models for the 2026 model year will also take place with an adjustment to the mid-price segment. Our strategic work to develop the product range and strengthen the Kabe Group internationally has made it possible to continue to defend our market shares. Increased export activities in previous years have reduced our dependence on individual markets.”

Regarding future prospects, Kabe’s report says that its operations during the coming year will continue to be characterised by efforts to reduce inventory levels in distribution chains and at production units.

The group says that it is well equipped to meet future market and customer needs thanks to increased geographical coverage, a strong financial position, a complete product portfolio, and a high rate of innovation.
