James Gero set to retire from LCI Industries board of directors

Leading components supplier to the recreational vehicle industry, LCI Industries, has announced that James Gero is set to retire from its board of directors.

James is the company’s longest serving board member, having accrued 33 years of service, including a spell as Chairman of the Board between 2014 and 2021. His retirement will be effective from LCI Industries’ 2026 annual meeting of stockholders in May.

He played a pivotal role in many of the company’s most significant moments, including the acquisition of Lippert Components in 1997 and the listing on the New York Stock Exchange in 2003.

In addition to his service at LCI Industries, James served as Chairman of the Board of Orthofix International, a publicly traded international supplier of orthopaedic devices and Varo, Inc., a leading aerospace and technology company.

“Jim has been an extraordinary leader, mentor, and trusted advisor to LCI Industries for more than 30 years,” said Jason Lippert, President and Chief Executive Officer.

“His steady guidance helped shape the company through periods of tremendous growth and through some of its most challenging moments. Throughout his tenure, Jim’s wisdom, perspective, and experience were invaluable to our leadership team. His impact on LCI Industries is enduring, and his leadership and counsel will be truly missed.”

The LCI Industries board of directors and management team extended their sincere appreciation to James in an official press release and explained that they will evaluate the size and composition of the board following his retirement.
