InnoSlide has recently released a video that introduces its slide-out system to the European RV market. The video offers a clear overview of how this solution can be integrated into campervans, motorhomes, and caravans. It highlights practical applications and the potential advantages in terms of space optimisation, especially in vehicles with compact dimensions. Next to this, compared to a vehicle without a slide-out, an InnoSlide system saves a lot of total weight on a vehicle while even providing more efficient space.

While slide-outs are a well-established feature in the North American RV industry, where over 70 per cent of new vehicles come equipped with at least one extension, their adoption in Europe has long been limited by design constraints, leaking problems, weight sensitivity, and industrial compatibility. Today, thanks to InnoSlide, this technology becomes a realistic option for European manufacturers as well.

Developed and engineered by InnoSlide, one of the first slide-out companies in Europe, their slide-out systems are specifically designed for high-quality, reliable mass production. It enables significant interior space expansion, up to 30 per cent, without the structural weight burden typical of traditional extensions. The system is supplied with automotive-grade seals, rounded corners which ensure both durability and waterproofing, and a flush look with the outside wall of the vehicle. The system can also be delivered with lightweight, insulated honeycomb panels included.

The product range includes modules up to 4×2 meters with a one-meter outwards travel. Movement is managed by four synchronised motors, and maintenance is simplified through interior access to components such as seals. Manufacturers can receive the product fully assembled or as a complete installation kit, allowing them to use their own wall panels.

In the campervan segment, InnoSlide offers compact systems designed for popular platforms like the Mercedes Sprinter and Fiat Ducato. These solutions allow for full queen-size beds in the width of a vehicle without modifying the vehicle chassis, thanks to specially designed brackets that utilise existing window chassis openings. Both manual and electric versions are available, with new formats under development.

Beyond production, InnoSlide supports its partners with installation training, on-site assistance during first installations, and consultancy for layout integration. The company also develops complementary interior modules such as bed-sofa systems.
