Indel B receives iF Design Award for its 12V Plein-Aircon unit

The new Plein-Aircon 12V from Indel B’s OFF air conditioning range has won an iF Design Award 2024.

In recognition of the award, Indel B gave special thanks to its Project Manager, Matteo Guercio. He said:  
“This recognition reaffirms our unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and delivering exceptional technical and design solutions to our customers. It’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and creativity of our team, and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved together.”

The Plein-Aircon is a 12V air conditioner for camper vans and semi-integrated motorhomes that is powered by the back-up battery alone, without needing inverters or generators. This means it can be used anywehere, without needing to be connected to mains electricity or a generator.

It cools and dehumidifies campers, vans and motorhomes up to 6 m long and is designed for roof installation, ideally positioned above the sleeping area to improve comfort.

The iF Design Awards are judged by 132 design experts from over 20 countries. Each winning product has to pass a rigorous two-stage selection process to assess its idea. form, function, differentiation and impact. The winners will receive their awards at a ceremony in Berlin on 29 April 2024.
