Italian motorhome brand Giottiline is celebrating 10 years since it became part of the Rapido Group.
The Tuscany-based company was purchased by PLA in 2014, which in turn was acquired by the Rapido Group in 2016, giving Giottiline a new platform upon which to continue its innovative work in the luxury motorhome segment.
The brand has enjoyed a decade of growth, synergy and a shared passion for leisure mobility alongside the Rapido Group, and claims that it has successfully combined the excellence of ‘Made in Italy’ with the strength of an international vision.
Founded by the Giotti family in Barberino Val d’Elsa in 2004, Giottiline began life producing luxury motorhomes designed on Iveco Daily chassis with three bodywork types: overcab, low-profile, and A-class models. Its products were characterised by cutting-edge interior styles and layouts.
A statement from the company said: “Giottiline has always made its closeness to people – and to the Tuscan region itself – its strength, promoting a concept of travel that is truly accessible to everyone without ever compromising on quality. Being part of the Groupe Rapido, a European leader in the recreational vehicle sector since 1948, has enabled us to refine a unique combination of our craftsmanship and the most advanced manufacturing technologies.
“This enables us to offer reliable products with meticulous attention to detail, continually enhanced by the exchange of expertise and the innovative vision of the Rapido Group and the entire Giottiline team, led by our Managing Director Giuseppe Pinto.
“A big thank you to all our employees, to our colleagues of the other companies within the Groupe Rapido – who are always supportive – and to our partners and customers, who have made these years together so special. Our journey continues, towards new destinations and new milestones!”
