François Feuillet re-elected as President of the European Caravanning Federation ECF
The European Caravan Federation (ECF) has witnessed a significant shift in leadership as its member associations unanimously re-elected François Feuillet as the new President. Feuillet, a seasoned figure in the industry who has intermittently held the position since 1998, will once again steer the course of the umbrella organization for the European caravanning sector for the next two years.

This transition comes in the wake of the retirement of Hermann Pfaff, who served as President of both the CIVD from 2014 to 2023 and the ECF from 2020 to 2024. Additionally, the departure of Sonja Gole marks the end of an era, as she bids farewell after two decades of service on the ECF board and over four decades at Slovenian leisure vehicle manufacturer Adria, where she spent nearly 30 years as General Manager.

In this new chapter, the executive board welcomes a fresh influx of talent. Joining the ranks are Mikael Blomqvist from the Swedish industry association HRF, Bart Decuyper, President of the Belgian association BCCMA, and Bernd Löher, President of the German manufacturers’ association CIVD. Their expertise and vision promise to invigorate the ECF’s leadership team and drive innovation within the European caravanning industry.

Furthermore, continuity is ensured as the ECF board renews its commitment to stability and progress. In the regular Board election, Leo Diepemaat (Treasurer), Simone Niccolai (APC) and Anthony Trevelyan (NCC) were also confirmed in their positions for a further two years.

“On behalf of the entire Board, I would like to thank the ECF members for the great trust they have placed in us. We look forward to continuing to successfully represent our industry at European level and to tackling the challenges ahead together in constructive cooperation,” said François Feuillet.
