Eberspaecher heating chosen for Westfalia's new James Cook

Westfalia, the German campervan manufacturer, has chosen Eberspaecher’s high-performance and reliable heating systems in the fourth generation of its James Cook model. The camper is equipped with Hydronic S3 Economy as standard. The Plugtronic electrical heating system can also be added as part of the optional Westfalia 4-Season Comfort Package.

For comfortable heating all year round, the new James Cook, a conversion of the Mercedes Sprinter, relies on two components from climate control experts, Westfalia. The Hydronic S3 Economy Diesel heater, controlled via CI-BUS, forms the basis of this heating design. For trips to colder regions, the James Cook can be fitted with the optional Westfalia 4-Season Comfort Package, which includes the Plugtronic electrical heater. This heater can help keep your camping nights extra quiet: When the engine is not running, the heater can be plugged into mains power (230V) – at a campground during the night, for example – to provide completely silent heating of the vehicle thanks to its electrical operation.
