DCHV reveals changes to executive committee at AGM

The German Caravanning Trade Association (DCHV) has announced changes to its executive committee during the organisation’s annual general meeting.

Oliver Vienken, who has been a member of the executive committee since 2024, has been named as the new Vice President of the DCHV, replacing Matthias Euch, who leaves for a role with DCHV supporting member Succeed GmbH.

Meanwhile, Sarah Bay, previously a member of the organisation’s advisory board, has now joined the executive committee.

These announcements were made during the DCHV’s traditional annual meeting, during which many positive discussions were had on topics including delivery quality, modern dealer contracts, the work of the digital committee, the new market radar and lobbying.

In his speech to the meeting, DCHV President Kai Dhonau advocated close contact within the industry in order to work together to ensure market stability and sustainability.

The DCHV also acknowledged members Euramobil, Fendt, and Frankana for reaching the milestone of 30 years as members.

The DCHV Digital Committee, represented by Andreas Neu and Manuela Brecht, DCHV Digital Director, reported on the results of the survey on the digital maturity of the caravanning trade. Here, the DCHV is committed to raising awareness of opportunities for increasing efficiency and the joint further development of digitalisation and AI throughout the industry.

In line with this, Tim Weigand, Digital Sales Expert at CaraConsult GmbH, gave a presentation on artificial intelligence in the caravanning trade.
