CIVD welcomes the German Bundestag's debate on the opportunities and challenges facing the caravan industry

The CIVD (Caravaning Industry Association in Germany) was pleased to see that the opportunities and challenges facing the caravan industry were debated in parliament this week. It says this industry needs the attention of politicians because, for example, for the upcoming transformation in the drive sector.

CIVD Managing Director Daniel Onggowinarso said: “Even if Parliament has not found a consensus on the subject, it is very important that topics relating to the caravanning industry are also discussed in the German Bundestag. We are not only drivers of tourism developments, but also as an industry affected by the transformation, among other things in the drive area. Thousands of jobs and 14 billion industrial sales prove that we are definitely relevant for the future of Germany as an industrial location. That is why we are looking forward to the debate and will continue to be available as a contact for parliament and government in the future, because the development of our industry offers many opportunities for Germany as a business location.”

The Caravaning Industry Association represents the interests of the industrial branch of the German caravanning industry. In addition to German and European manufacturers of caravans and mobile homes, its members also include numerous companies in the supply industry, service providers, public institutions and associations.
