The 2026 edition of Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, one of the world’s most significant exhibitions for the leisure vehicle industry, is promising to be a ‘driving force’ for trade and businesses.
Hosted from 28 August to 6 September at the Messe Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, the show will this year have the theme ‘opening up new worlds’, designed to showcase how diverse and innovative mobile travel is.
This year will be the 65th edition of the show, and as usual, it will host hundreds of exhibitors across 15 halls covering almost every category possible in the camping, caravanning, and mobile travel worlds.
“Especially at a time when many people are making more conscious decisions about how and on what they spend their time and money, caravanning is becoming increasingly popular,” said Caravan Salon Director, Stefan Koschke.
“It offers flexible breaks, spontaneous short trips or long journeys – and the freedom to tailor your holiday to your own preferences. This is precisely where Caravan Salon comes in: it doesn’t just showcase products, it opens up real possibilities. Visitors can compare, try things out, find inspiration and discover the solutions that suit their lifestyle.
“We don’t just showcase products; in our exhibition halls, visitors can experience caravanning in all its diversity: vehicles, technology and accessories, as well as travel destinations, campsites and parking spaces. In Düsseldorf, manufacturers and suppliers meet a highly interested, affluent target audience as well as international industry experts. This unique combination makes Caravan Salon the key venue for emotionally engaging with innovations and embedding them for the long term – with end customers as well as business partners. This is where relevance is created – and where decisions are made.”
Caravan Salon will once again refine its layout for 2026 in order to create an easier and more enjoyable experience for trade and public visitors – a key highlight is the new off-road area in halls 16 and 17, targeting a market that is gaining a lot of interest in Europe and around the world.
Well-established themed areas such as Equipment & Outdoor (hall 3), Travel & Nature (hall 7) and Technology & Components (halls 13 and 14) will remain in their usual locations and continue to provide a clear structure within the exhibition programme. Hall 9 remains unavailable due to ongoing refurbishment work.
