AL-KO opens new centre in Sweden to serve Scandinavia

AL-KO Vehicle Technology (VT) has expanded its service centre in Skene near Gothenburg, Sweden, into a fully equipped AL-KO VT customer centre to serve the entire Scandinavian region. The opening has extended its European network of customer centres to eight sites (which are in France, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria and three in Germany).

The new customer centre covers 980 m² and is located 50 kilometers south of Gothenburg. It offers a customer reception area and a showroom as well as a large, fully-equipped workshop. It sells and fits products from the group’s brands of AL-KO, E&P, CBE and SAWIKO, including towbars, bicycle and motorbike carriers, levelling systems, air suspensions, maneuvering aids, stability aids and solar panels. It also offers caravan payload-increase services and classic service and repair work on chassis and braking systems.

“The new and updated customer center in Skene near Gothenburg is another step towards even greater customer proximity and is a first-class addition to AL-KO’s close-knit service network in Europe,” says Guido Kovermann, Senior Vice President After sales and Customer Centers AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group.

“We are working intensively on broadening our product offering and our geographical coverage. The new customer centre allows us to widen our service for the whole of Scandinavia. We are pushing our sales efforts especially in the area of levelling systems and will, from now on, provide our customers with a comprehensive portfolio of products and services from a single source with one-stop shopping for LevelM, LevelC and HY4,” says Fredrik Rhodin, Managing Director of AL-KO Nordic.
