AL-KO expands its European customer centre network

The AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group is expanding its European customer centre network to six sites with the opening of its new Benelux site in Nieuw-Vennep (35 km south of Amsterdam) in the Netherlands in June 2020.

AL-KO’s customer centre network offers owners of caravans and motorhomes, light commercial vehicles and trailers a wide range of special aftermarket services and products, and extends its dealer network.

The new customer centre occupies a 1,600 m² plot of land and includes a workshop, showroom and three camper parking spaces with electricity connection outside.

The new AL-KO customer center in the Netherlands occupies a 1,600 m² plot of land and includes a workshop, showroom and three camper parking spaces with electricity connection outside. It also offers a wide range of services for customers, including a lounge and free WiFi.

In addition to the current products, the showroom also offers a direct view of the workshop and thus of the conversions. An exhibition with products in action such as shunting or spring systems complements the offer.

“With the new Benelux customer center in Nieuw-Vennep, we are not only expanding our range of services in the Netherlands, but are also better accessible to our customers in the neighbouring countries of Belgium and Luxembourg. The customer centre also excellently complements our broad and high-quality dealer network, ”says Guido Kovermann, Senior Vice President After Sales and Customer Center at the AL-KO Vehicle Technology Group.

“At the same time, we are pleased that we were able to recruit several highly qualified employees for the new location,” he continued.

In addition to the maintenance and repair work on the chassis, the service portfolio also includes the installation of spring and jack systems as well as comfort and driver assistance systems. Vehicles with AL-KO chassis and axles naturally benefit from carrying out all special work in OEM quality. Electronics such as anti-skid systems for caravans can also be installed. Furthermore, for example, bike carriers, towbars or motorcycle loading aids for campers can be installed.

In order to be able to carry out the work quickly and reliably, two lifts are available in the workshop for vehicles and trailers. A brake test bench for trailers as well as the latest machines round off the workshop area.

The other five AL-KO Customer Centres are located in Verona, Italy, Louhans in France and Kotz, Elsdorf, Neuenkirchen-Vorden in Germany: https://www.linkedin.com/company/al-ko-vehicle-technology/about/
