80,000 visitors at the CMT on the first weekend

Around 80,000 visitors came to the Stuttgart Exhibition Center for the CMT on the first weekend and found out about the latest holiday and caravanning trends. “An excellent start to this year’s Stuttgart Holiday Fair and for our exhibitors” says Roland Bleinroth, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart. “The atmosphere is overwhelming. Not only in the tourist area, but also in the camping and caravanning halls”.

CMT, the world’s largest consumer show for tourism and leisure, is taking place at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre from 14 to 22 January 2023. It is open daily from 10.00 to 18.00; admission starts at 09.00.

The Holiday Exhibition is supplemented by special shows, i.e. Fahrrad- und Wander-Reisen (Cycling and Hiking Holidays), Golf- und Wellness-Reisen (Golf and Wellness Holidays), and Kreuzfahrt- und Schiffs-Reisen (Cruises and Ship Travel). Fahrrad- und Wander-Reisen (Cycling and Hiking Holidays) extended for the first time to three days and includes both the first weekend of CMT and the Monday (14 to 16 January). In the caravaning section, distributed in 7 halls, visitors can look forward to around 1,200 vehicles of all renowned brands and manufacturers.

“The atmosphere in our outdoor hall is great. Visitors are in lively exchange with exhibitors and get advice on the current models and travel offers. Everyone is completely satisfied,” said Guido von Vacano, Member of the Management Board at Messe Stuttgart. The bicycle course is well received by everyone: almost 1000 test rides were counted on the two days of the fair in the specially fenced hall area.
